Meet Hope

Marriage and Family Therapist Registered Associate

About me

I provide treatment for those with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma. I work with couples, families, and people in any relationship configuration and support them in building effective communication, setting boundaries, and working together to create a healthy partnership.

I specialize in treating NICU Parents, Family Members, and Graduates.  I am the mother of an former extreme preemie who spent over 90 days in the NICU, so I understand the pain and stress that experience creates, even years after your child is discharged.  Because my child is an adult, I understand the impacts their experience can have.  I welcome those NICU graduates to explore and heal from their traumatic birth experiences.

I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectic behavior therapy, mindfulness and trauma. I take a diverse approach to treatment and will meet you where you are with techniques that we discover work for you.  My personal style is one of openness and straight talk, so if this feels right to you, you’re in the right place!  Contact me for a free 15 minute consultation.

Care to know me a little more?

I grew up in the Carribean and grew to appreciate diversity, calypso music, bright colors, and street food.  I used to be a competitive swimmer, but now I enjoy the quiet things like doing crosswords, watching quirky documentaries and spending time with my family. If you choose to work with me, you will meet my 16 year old lab who is my constant office companion!
